On a more personal note......

I have been a single mom for about 5 weeks now. Bryce is working in Baltimore, and I had to get some things done before I could leave to be with him. Well, I just got back from the ER tonight. Isn't that fun? Austin busted open his chin again playing at the playground. Oh, and yesterday while I was driving home on the freeway, Austin decides to open the door while I was driving. It was nuts. But let me say I KNOW we are being protected. When Bryce left I said a long prayer to help me get through this time away from him. After all, I do still have a new born. The first day he left my friend brought over my keys and cell phone that a yard worker had brought to her. She lives about 5 houses away from me.I have NO idea why they were outside.(Lack of sleep I am sure). It was such a miracle. When she came to the door, I had just finished saying a prayer. There has been MANY incidences when I know there has been another hand helping me out. You are what you think about most, so I always try to THINK POSITIVE. (Stephen Covey stuff.) I fell so blessed. I am grateful to my 2 moms that have helped me out. The hardest thing is making sure Austin is having a good time. He is such a kind boy. I leave for Maryland on Saturday and can't wait to see all of my wonderful friends. And yes, my sweet husband!!!!!

Oh my gosh, Becky, wow...

You are such a great example to me - what a woman taking care of 2 babies by yourself right now! Crazy! Thank you for reminding me to stay positive too :)

We definitely need to get together before you leave this weekend (that is if I don't have the baby). Otherwise, we'll get together in Baltimore - oh yeah, we'll be there the weekend of 8/8 so leave that open for us!
