Big Boy Bed

Austin was so excited about his big boy bed! I asked if he wanted to help put it together and he got his tools out. After all, he is the man of the house now. It was a little sad, because my baby is growing up. But everyday is a new adventure for him. He is getting so smart. He starts preschool in the spring. We have to work on the potty training now. Any tips would be great. The only thing that works is M&M's. Now, lets see if I get any sleep tonight.

Noah went pant less for 2 days straight. I gave him sippy after sippy all day long. And then took him to the potty all day long. I thikn you just really have to put life on hold for a bit.

haha, thats funny you used m&ms, we did that for a little bit too.. but Tati isn't quite ready for the potty I guess; we'll try again later. How's Austin doing in his big boy bed? Tati is in her big girl mattress on the floor, she still rolls off, so we're waiting till she gets better, but she's in her new room, I am going to post it when I'm done w/ all the final touches :)

So cute! We had a blast with you yesterday. My kids are still talking about Becky and her "super cool" toys. They love your house! Austin is such a cutie. I hope you have a fun weekend in San Diego and you can get some sleep!!

Oh, potty training for me worked well using stickers. I got a big bright poster that I made big boxes for each day and every time he went on the toilet he got a sticker. Every time he had an accident we took one off. He got prizes for every 10 stickers or whatever. I also have done a paper with a bunch of circles leading a trail to an ice cream cone, everytime he went potty he got a sticker in a circle until he made it to the ice cream and we'd go get one. That's what worked for us! Sorry so long!

He looks like Frodo the Hobbit in that big boy bed! He's so cute. We had fun tonight with you guys. Austin & Jonah get along so well. They are cousin buddies. :) Good luck with the potty training. It's too bad we can't rub their noses in it like we do puppies. Just kidding. I don't even know if that's politically correct anymore. That's why I don't have a dog.
